Abstract: System and techniques for social cuing based on in-context observation are described herein. A plurality of context attributes about a user and a subject may be received. A period in which an interpersonal interaction between the user and the subject occurs may be determined. A social-interaction-emotional-state may be determined during the period from the plurality of context attributes using a pre-defined classification methodology. A feedback response may be generated based on the determined social-interaction-emotional-state. The feedback may be presented to the user.

Abstract: A system for presenting an image on a user in a social setting includes an image projection system configured to detect the presence of a user via their mobile device when the user comes within a predefined proximity, such as within a real-world social setting (e.g., coffeehouse, bar, club, etc.). The image projection system is further configured to access a social network platform and detect media content associated with the user, particularly media content that the user has shared on the social network platform via their mobile device. The image projection system is further configured to project media content onto the user's body, clothing and/or personal items via a projector and dynamically adapt projection of the media content in the event the user moves within the social setting.

Abstract: The invention relates to an earpiece form factor including technology to monitor physiological, activity and environmental data on a user. The device includes a pulse oximeter unit to provide blood oxygenation level and beat-to-beat timing, a three-axis accelerometer to provide orientation and activity level, and a temperature sensor to provide a subject's skin temperature. The device may also capture other forms of data for the user and the user's surroundings. Captured data are transmitted wirelessly to a mobile phone, PDA or other device that supports wireless transmission, and enables monitoring form another location.
