Abstract: A garment is includes a lower portion and a waistband coupled to the lower portion and configured to be oriented around a waist of the person wearing the garment. The waistband includes a first flap and a second flap. The first flap includes a top edge and an opposite arcuate edge. The second flap includes a top edge and an opposite bottom edge, wherein the first flap and the second flap overlap. A pocket panel is coupled to the waistband of the garment and defines a pocket with an opening to the pocket. The opening to the pocket is defined along a laterally-extending first perimeter portion of the pocket panel and a laterally-extending second perimeter portion of the pocket panel. The first flap is coupled to the first perimeter portion of the pocket panel and the second flap is coupled to the second perimeter portion of the pocket panel.

Abstract: A face mask includes a piece of fabric including a main body portion, a first leg extending from first side of the main body portion, and a second leg extending from a second side of the main body portion. A first plurality of slots are arranged along a first side perimeter of the main body portion, and a second plurality of slots are arranged along a second side perimeter of the main body portion. At least one first fold in the piece of fabric extends between the first plurality of slots and at least one second fold extends between the second plurality of slots. The first plurality of slots are aligned and the first leg extends through the first plurality of slots. The second plurality of slots are also aligned and the second leg extends through the second plurality of slots.

Abstract: An article of apparel includes protective padding adapted to contour to the wearer. In an embodiment, the protective panel is a multilayered panel including a foam layer, a fabric layer, and a bonding layer located between the foam layer and the fabric layer. The foam layer may be formed of auxetic foam. Alternatively or in addition to, the bonding layer may be a film including a plurality of openings, and each of the openings defines a reentrant shape.
