Abstract: Devices, formulations, compositions, and methods are provided for inhibiting an inflammatory ophthalmic disease or eye condition in a patient. A therapeutic composition comprising a direct factor Xa inhibitor and/or a direct factor II inhibitor is provided. A therapeutically effective dose of the therapeutic composition is delivered to a site of the inflammatory ophthalmic disease or condition in the patient’s eye(s). The therapeutic composition may be formulated for delivery to the patient by via injection, an implant, an eye drop, an emulsion, a suspension, an ointment, a nanomicelle, a nanoparticle, a nanosuspension, a liposome, an in-situ gel, a contact lens, or a microneedle or the like. The therapeutic composition may include one or more additional therapeutically active substances and/or one or more additional pharmaceutical agents.

A first radial band (RB) of the data tracks is written from an outer diameter (OD) of the disk toward an inner diameter (ID) of the disk, and a first jog profile is calibrated for the first radial band that compensates for the writer/reader offset. A second RB is written from an ID to an OD, and a second jog profile is calibrated for the second RB that compensates for the writer/reader offset. The first RB is accessed using the first jog profile, and the second RB is accessed using the second jog profile.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for providing a plurality of payment services to facilitate electronic commerce. In one embodiment, services are provided within the context of a four-corner trust model comprising a buyer and a seller that engage in an on-line transaction. The buyer is a customer of a first financial institution. The first financial institution acts as a certificate authority for the buyer and issues the seller a hardware token including a private key and a digital certificate signed by the first financial institution. The seller is a customer of a second financial institution. The buyer uses its private key to sign payment instructions that are forwarded to the first or second financial institution for execution. The message may be forwarded to the first financial institution indirectly via the seller and the second financial institution.

The connector comprises a platform and a receptacle structure that is moveably coupled to the platform to move between a raised position and a lowered position. The receptacle structure includes an opening contoured to receive the communications connector when in the raised position. A connector surface includes a plurality of connector elements positioned on the platform to contact connector elements on the communication connector when the receptacle structure receives the communication connector.

Abstract: An input/output (I/O) media connector for a reduced sized communication cards. A metallic shield is wrapped substantially about the connector and secured to the connector by a plurality of pins integral with the connector. The shield has a plurality of tabs securely connected and grounded to a printed circuit board (PCB) that is interposed between the top and bottom covers of a compact flash card. Since the connector shield is securely connected and grounded to the PCB, the shield reflects and/or absorb the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the connector. Further, a plurality of cantilever beam springs integral with the shield, and biased towards the covers of the compact flash card, serve to ensure that the shield remains in substantial physical contact and electrical communication with the metallic covers of the compact flash card.
