Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a technique for generating simultaneous zoom in windows on a touch sensitive device. A first portion of the user content is zooming into by touching the display screen in a proximity of the first portion using the touch input device while retaining an original zoom size of a first remaining portion of the user content. A second portion of the user content from the first remaining portion is zoomed into by touching the display screen in a proximity of the second portion using the touch input device while retaining a zoomed in first portion and an original zoom size of a second remaining portion of the of the first remaining portion, the original zoom size of the first and the second remaining portions being the same.

Abstract: The present application describes performing a user initiated search query comprising receiving user input comprising description details of at least one desired object, retrieving a plurality of objects from a database sharing one or more of the description details of the user input, retrieving an image of the at least one desired object based on one or more of the plurality of objects, generating a contour of the image and comparing the generated contour with other related contours of other images stored in the database, displaying all of the available contours of all of the images that match the generated contour, receiving a selection of one of the available contours from the user and performing the search query based on the user selected contour.

At least a first predetermined number of touch events is detected on the touch sensitive device. At least a second predetermined number of control points is determined based on the detected at least first predetermined number of touch events. A command is determined based on a change in value of at least one parameter related to at least two of the control points. A first data object and a second data object are processed based on a preselected common attribute tag using the determined command.

One example may include instructing the user to draw a certain figure on the touch screen interface device, and detecting the user's touch on the touch screen interface device. Further operations may include identifying the user's touch as a plurality of coordinates within a predefined area designated as the user's interface device, and comparing touch strength pressure measurements of the user's touch coordinates with touch strength pressure measurement threshold values stored in a memory of a computing device. Additional operations may also include adjusting the touch strength pressure measurement threshold values based on the touch strength pressure measurements of the user's touch coordinates.

Abstract: The illustrative embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for notifying a user when a set of characters are identified in a media file. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a set of characters inputted by the user of a computing device, playing the media file, transcribing the media file to form a transcription, and determining whether the transcription of the media file includes the set of characters. The method also includes initiating a notification prompt on a graphical user interface of the computing device in response to determining that the media file includes the set of characters.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of providing a user with a customized user interface is disclosed. One example may include generating a window display area based on at least one predefined user preference, and displaying the window display area in a specified location of the user. The method may also include prompting the user to select at least one particular application that may be associated with the window display area, and prompting the user to customize the window attributes by modifying the window display area. Other operations may include saving the customized window display area in a memory of a computing device once the user has completed the customizing of the window attributes.
