  • Patent number: 11486047
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of recovering Pt or Ag or Pt and Ag from a sulfate solution on an electrode. In particular, the invention concerns a method for recovering Pt or Ag or Pt and Ag from base metal bearing process solution, particularly from a hydrometallurgical sacrificial metal bearing solution containing Zn and/or Ni. In general, the method of the present invention can be used for recovery of precious metals, which are dissolvable in sulfuric acid, from sulfate media based solutions. In addition to Pt and Ag, especially Pd should be mentioned. Deposited precious metal(s) can be recovered from the electrode or the deposition containing electrode can be used as such.

  • Patent number: 10934192
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of removing and/or recovering metals from a dilute metal containing solution. In particular, the invention concerns a method for recovering copper from a dilute copper-iron bearing mining water, particularly from a copper-iron bearing mining wastewater.

  • Patent number: 10907237
Abstract: Provided is a method of recovering gold, and optionally silver, from gold-bearing, and optionally silver-bearing, double refractory raw material, comprising the steps of (a) leaching the gold-bearing, and optionally silver-bearing, double refractory raw material in a chloride containing leaching solution to dissolve gold and to obtain a leach solution comprising gold, and optionally silver, in solution, whereby the redox of leaching solution in the chloride leaching step is above 550 mV vs. Ag/AgCl; and simultaneously contacting the leach solution comprising gold, and optionally silver, in solution with a re-sorptive material to obtain a gold-containing, and optionally silver-containing, re-sorptive material; and (b) recovering gold and optionally silver from the gold-containing, and optionally silver-containing, re-sorptive material.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 27, 2016
Date of Patent: February 2, 2021
    Assignee: OUTOTEC (FINLAND) OY

  • Patent number: 10669608
Abstract: Provided is a process for recovery of gold from gold-bearing raw materials comprising (a) leaching said gold-bearing raw material in a chloride containing leaching solution containing a total concentration of less than 120 g/L of halide ions, whereby the total concentration of chloride ions is less than 120 g/L of to dissolve gold and to obtain a leach solution comprising gold in solution; and simultaneously contacting the leach solution comprising gold in solution with a re-sorptive material to obtain a leach solution comprising gold-bearing re-sorptive material; and (b) recovering gold and optionally silver from the said gold-bearing re-sorptive material.
