Abstract: An animal husbandry system for a group of animals that can move about freely in an area. The system contains at least one illumination unit, each illumination unit contains a mounting structure provided with a number of illumination elements, and each is arranged for illuminating a respective subarea. The system also contains at least one camera arranged for monitoring a number of subareas, where the camera(s) is (are) arranged for repeatedly determining the illumination intensity at one or more reference surfaces in the area. The system further contains a control means, operatively connected to the illumination elements and to the camera(s), and the control means is programmed for adjusting the illumination elements, based upon the determined illumination intensity at the reference surface(s), in such a way that a predetermined desired illumination intensity pattern is achieved in the area.

Abstract: The invention provides in vitro methods of determining whether an individual has a pre-cancer or cancer comprising determining the presence or absence of one or more methylation markers of a methylation marker set in a urine sample of said individual; and determining whether the individual has pre-cancer or cancer based on the detection of the presence or absence of said one or more methylation markers in the urine sample, wherein the presence of said one or more methylation markers indicates that the individual has pre-cancer or cancer. The invention further provides methods for typing pre-cancer or cancer based on the presence or absence of one or more methylation markers of a methylation marker set in a urine sample.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods of inhibiting growth or proliferation of cells expressing CD38 by contacting the CD38-expressing cells with 1) NK cells bound to an anti-CD38 F(ab?)2 fragment and 2) an anti-CD38 antibody, in either order or simultaneously. Also provided herein are methods of treating or inhibiting a hyperproliferative disorder or an autoimmune disorder in a subject by administering to the subject 1) NK cells bound to an anti-CD38 F(ab?)2 fragment and 2) an anti-CD38 antibody, in either order or simultaneously.

The upper body part is coated in a material to promote the ingrowth of bone therein and the lower portion of the stem is coated by a material which will be absorbed during the time taken for the prosthesis to be held in place by ingrowth of bone onto the upper body part.
