  • Publication number: 20170212877
Abstract: An out-space actuator is selected to access an out-space user interface for a document editor program. An out-space actuator is associated with an in-space user interface having a displayed document. When the out-space actuator is selected, an out-space user interface is displayed that includes an expanded feature selection surface. The out-space user interface may be used to display one or more status panes for providing status information about a document being edited in the in-space user interface. Application features for affecting changes to a given document's status may be exposed in the out-space interface in proximity to associated status information. An out-space communication user interface (UI) component may be temporarily displayed in the document in-space user interface to communicate document status information that is presently available in the out-space user interface. A message bar may be displayed in the in-space user interface for communicating information from the out-space user interface.

  • Publication number: 20170196918
Abstract: The invention relates to a bacterial strain, Lactobacillus casei IPLA12038 with deposit number CECT 8590, and its use for the degradation of gluten, gliadin or derivative peptides. The strain has been isolated from an acidic dough used to make bread. Its advantages include the ability to use gliadin as nitrogen source, possess peptidase activities involved in the degradation of it and be able to completely degrade the immunotoxic (33) amino acid peptide involved in triggering of celiac disease in a short period of time. The fact of considering it a GRAS and QPS microorganism, isolated from a fermented food, sensitive to antimicrobial gastrointestinal agents and resistant to gastrointestinal conditions tested in vitro, guarantees its use as a probiotic or nutraceutical supplement.

  • Patent number: 9106584
Abstract: An aspect of the disclosed technology is a general-purpose platform that may be used to provide resilient cloud services. Tasks may be written as procedures in general-purpose programming languages that directly manipulate resources via control interfaces. In one implementation, resource states, such as router configurations and virtual machine states, associated with a cloud customer that provides communications services, may be abstracted into tables in a relational or semi-structured database. State changes that have been written to the database tables are automatically propagated by the database to appropriate customer physical devices, such as network elements, thereby implementing various customer network operations.

  • Patent number: 8975564
Abstract: This invention advances the related state-of-the-art by eliminating the physical EO window used by electro-optical imaging infrared seekers for tactical missiles and high-altitude endo-atmospheric interceptors, widely employed in integrated defense systems. This invention increases the probability of intercepting exo-atmospheric ballistic warheads by exo-atmospheric interceptors, and eliminates the existing altitude “gap” of interception, as well as the geographical limitations posed by the mesospheric Noctilucent Clouds. The problem of protecting an imaging EO sensor from aeroheating is solved in this invention by a special purpose device which is enabled immediately after the nose cone ejection event.
