Abstract: A method for synchronizing applications may include authenticating a first user based on receiving an authentication function call from an application running on a first computing device. An invitation request may be transmitted to a second computing device to join the application. A session identification may be transmitted to the first computing device and second computing device. An event post function call may be received from the first computing device, the event post function call including a change to the application. An event fetch function call may be received from the second computing device and based on the receiving the change to the application may be transmitted to the second computing device.

Abstract: A method of interactive reading may include generating a user interface. The user interface may include audio data and video data received from a first user device and audio data and video received from a second user device. Additionally, a selection of a book from the first user device is received. A graphical representation of the book comprising text and illustrations from the book is displayed on the user interface, wherein the book is presented a single page at a time. An indication from the first user device or second user device to proceed to a second page of the book may be received the user interface may be updated to present the second page of the book. Also, the user interface may be transmitted to the first user device and the second user device. The method may also include a recording of the audio and video data sent by the user devices to be played back later.

Abstract: A winged toy having a flexible hollow body resembling that of a butterfly. Wings are secured to the hollow body portion and upon the hollow body portion being distorted, as by squeezing, the angular position of the wings is changed. Thus, by squeezing and releasing the hollow body repeatedly, the wings can be made to move up and down to simulate a flapping motion.A toy figure such as a fairy is seated upon a saddle member having a backrest, a base portion and a stud, the legs of the toy figure straddling the stud. The body portion is provided at its forward end with antennae which are held by the hands of the fairy to provide further support for the fairy.

Abstract: A shape-matching educational toy apparatus includes a first plate having a plurality of different shape apertures therein and a plurality of block elements of corresponding shapes which are receivable in the apertures. The block elements are retained in the apertures by resilient retaining elements until a second plate engages the block elements to push them therethrough. The second plate is hingedly attached to the first plate but resiliently upwardly displaceable relative thereto whereby when an obstruction such as a child's finger is interposed between the plates, injury is avoided.
