  • Publication number: 20220082488
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of building an optimized color flow cytometry panel is disclosed using a full spectrum flow cytometer with five excitation lasers and five corresponding detection modules. In another embodiment, a graphical user interface is disclosed generated by a server computer from a fluorochrome database and displayed by a client computer to assist in the selection of a set of fluorochromes for use in an assay to analyze biological samples. The GUI can display spectra graphs to visually show how fluorochromes may overlap and can generate similarity indexes for the paired fluorochrome interference and a complexity index for overall many to many interferences generated by a selected group or set of fluorochromes.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 26, 2021
    Publication date: March 17, 2022
Inventors: Maria Jaimes, Zhenyu Zhang, Jian Zhou, Huiming Gu, Shao Qing, Ming Yan, David Vrane

  • Publication number: 20210072138
Abstract: Methods and systems for performing a flow cytometry experiment can include evaluating one or more assignments of labels to a plurality of markers. Evaluating assignments of labels can include evaluating condition numbers for at least one spillover matrix. The method can further include selecting labels based at least in part on the evaluation of condition numbers. Methods and systems for performing a flow cytometry experiment can also include inputting data regarding markers, cell populations, labels, and cytometer configuration for a flow cytometry experiment, assigning labels to at least some of the markers, and running the flow cytometry experiment.
