Abstract: In a method to determine one or more data sets (in particular radiological data sets) generated at an earlier point in time—which data sets are to be considered in the framework of a medical diagnosis, which data sets contain text information generated in the framework of earlier evaluations—from a data set assemblage containing a number of different data sets stored in a computer, an input or selection field for a search term is presented to the user on a monitor, in which field the user inputs or selects at least one search term, after which the text information of all data sets is automatically analyzed. That data set or those data sets that contain the search term or a comparable term associated with this search term in their text information are identified and displayed.
