Abstract: A shaft power plant for generating electricity by energy conversion of an outflow between upper water and lower water in a river includes at least two power plant modules, each having a vertical shaft with an open top and a shaft crown forming an inflow plane. The inflow plane is substantially parallel with the river bed and extends below a water level of the upper water. Each of the power plant modules also has a turbine generator unit arranged in the shaft. The power plant also includes an ecological connecting channel formed as an outflow from the upper water into the lower water without generating electricity by energy conversion.

Abstract: A device for parting a strip (6) of binding material that has been fitted around an article (5), such as a roll of sheet material or bundle of sections and the like, comprising a housing (1) provided with a support (12) for supporting the device with respect to the article (5), two blades (7, 8) connected to the housing (1), at least one blade (8) of which can be moved with respect to the housing (1), drive means (37) for moving the blades with respect to one another between an open position and a closed position for cutting through and/or snipping through the strip (6) when the housing (1) is bearing on the article, and a clamp (16) for holding the parted strip. The clamp (16) and one of the blades can be brought into interaction with one another to clamp the strip (6) between them.

Abstract: An installation for processing material in strip form, such as a sealing strip that has been removed from a roll of material, comprises a rotary head, by means of which one end of the material in strip form can be grasped and on which said material in strip form can be wound, and guide means for guiding the material in strip form in the peripheral direction during winding. The guide means have a movable guide section that can be shifted between an open and a closed position, respectively, such that in the open position the wound-up material in strip found can be removed from the guide means.
