  • Patent number: 9449512
Abstract: Technologies for optimized vehicle parking include a parking management computing device and a number of advanced vehicles, each having an in-vehicle computing system. The parking management computing device establishes a secure control channel with each of the in-vehicle computing systems. Each of the in-vehicle computing systems may send a parking request to park or access the vehicle to the parking management computing device. The parking management computing device queries a number of the advanced vehicles that are already parked for positional or sensor data and determines an optimized parking configuration based on the parking request. The parking management computing device transmits movement requests to the in-vehicle computing systems to implement the optimized parking configuration. Each in-vehicle computing system may perform the movement request by using an autonomous driving capability, by using a remote control capability, or by notifying an operator. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20160247367
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for users to communicate with encoded messages via their wearables devices. Users can send encoded messages by pressing on at least one button on the wearable devices. Pressing the at least one button in different sequences can mean different messages. The encoded messages can be sent from a first wearable device to a second wearable device, and the received encoded messages can be displayed as a configuration of at least one light on the second wearable device. Messages can be sent over any suitable communications medium from one wearable device to another wearable device. Devices can also use other wearable devices to relay messages. A wearable device can be paired with a communication device and use the communication device's network to send and/or receive messages over a long distance.

  • Publication number: 20150175068
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for augmenting reality in a head-up display implemented using a windshield of a vehicle. Image data of an operator of the vehicle is captured and a gaze tracker processes the operator image data to determine a direction of the gaze of the operator. Image data of the environment ahead of the vehicle is captured. An environment analyzer processes the environment image data. Augmented reality (“AR”) data is received from an external network. The AR data is associated with an object ahead of the vehicle and within the current area of central vision of the operator. A projection system presents AR data on the windshield to appear, to the operator of the vehicle, to be associated with the object.

  • Publication number: 20130097563
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multiple-dimension-data-organization method. More specifically, this method uses an n-dimensional cube (M-cube) in which each face displays the data on a 2-D planar surface and in which the x and y axes may be changed in accordance with the user's request. More specifically still, the data to be viewed may be easily changed by the user by means of a simple rotation command using a touch-sensitive interface.
