  • Patent number: 12138892
Abstract: The present invention is enclosed in the area of panels for structural and decorative surfaces, in particular panels containing polymer-based materials, suitable for the coating of surfaces, for example, and containing such polymer-based materials in the respective layers. The present invention may relate to the integration of polymer granules, recycled or unrecycled, being particularly relevant when the granules are obtained from end-of-life polymer-based materials, for instance obtained from car tires into the core of compact laminate boards. It is therefore an object of the present invention a composite panel (100) for structural and decorative surfaces wherein it comprises a core panel, the core panel (10) comprising a mixture of granules of a polymeric material and a bonding element (1), the bonding element providing for the bonding of the granules of a polymeric material.

  • Publication number: 20240339180
Abstract: A patient database system includes a patient database module and a patient database. The patient database may store longitudinal data for patients, and the patient database module may initially acquire a patient data value for a new patient, store the patient data value as part of the longitudinal data of the new patient, acquire further patient data values for the new patient, include the further patient data values as part of the longitudinal data of the new patient, retain the longitudinal data of the new patient for a time duration that extends through a plurality of medical processes having different time periods, compare the longitudinal data to a requirement of a clinical trial, and replenish the patient database with a patient data value of an additional patient. The patient database module may also perform a longitudinal data action on the longitudinal data of the new patient.

At least some of the modular components may perform a modular component operation. The modular components may include a patient database component to establish and update longitudinal data for patients including a first patient, where the longitudinal data for the first patient includes a plurality of patient data values. The modular components may include a journey management component to curate a journey of the first patient through a first clinical protocol, the journey including a plurality of touch points. The modular components may include a patient interaction component to receive a patient data value from the first patient and provide the patient data value to the patient database component, and to interact with the first patient according to at least one of the touch points.

  • Publication number: 20240315645
Abstract: There is provided a method to estimate a period characteristic, such as period length or a period location, of a physiological rhythm, such as a cardiac rhythm or a spontaneous breathing rhythm. The method comprises receiving the signal representing the physiological rhythm, estimating a first group of period characteristic estimations based on the signal, generating a prior probability for the period characteristic based on at least a subset of the first group of period characteristic estimations, and estimating a second group of period characteristic estimations based on the first group and the prior probability. By using this method, the accuracy of the signal is improved, especially when the signal is obtained from an accelerometer arranged on the chest of the subject.
