  • Publication number: 20100120998
Abstract: A catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprises Mg, Ti, halogen, and an alpha-omega-diether represented by the general formula: (RO)ā€”(CR1R2)nā€”(OR), wherein the number of n is from 5 to 10, R is an alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radical containing 1 to 12 carbons, and R1 and R2 are independently from each other hydrogen, an alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radical containing 1 to 12 carbons. The catalysts prepared with such component provide a high mileage for the production of polyolefins with a high bulk density of the polymer produced in gas-phase polymerization process or in slurry polymerization process. Such catalyst produces narrower MWD PE, if compared with other catalyst systems.

  • Publication number: 20090280977
Abstract: The instant invention relates to a process for preparing a catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins. Catalysts prepared with this catalyst component provide a high mileage for the production of polyolefin with a high bulk density of the polymer produced therewith. Particularly, catalysts prepared with this catalyst component are suitable for the improved economical production of polyolefin in gas phase processes.

  • Publication number: 20080161516
Abstract: For the (co) polymerization of ethylene with other 1-olefins, a Ziegler catalyst which comprises the product from the reaction of a magnesium alkoxide suspended or dispersed as ge in an inert solvent with a tetravalent transition metal compound and is subjected to a thermal after-treatment for a period of not more than 180 minutes is prepared. The catalyst gives a high yield of a polymer powder which has a broad molar mass distribution and is best suited to the production of films, hollow bodies and pipes.

  • Patent number: 7000772
Abstract: A display package for displaying merchandise includes a base, at least one merchandise receptacle located in the base and a cover. Merchandise to be packaged or displayed is inserted into the receptacle in the base. The cover is slipped over the base to enclose an interior which holds the merchandise. Information medium is also placed within the interior of the package and is held in place by a holder in the base. The information medium may extend to the upper portion of the cover farthest from the base, in which case, the cover may include anti-tipping measures which support the upper edge of the information medium in at least one direction to prevent tipping of the medium.
