The disclosed pillow also contributes to better sleeping outcomes, e.g., by increasing air flow into the lungs relative to conventional pillows. The pillow features a contoured upper surface that defines a head-receiving region that is bounded by raised crests of differing elevations. The pillow may be fabricated from foam materials that provide desirable levels of deformation and resilience.
