Abstract: Machine for making filled pasta including a feeding station, configured for feeding a layer of fresh pasta and a predetermined quantity of a semi-finished food product to a coupling space of said machine, and a coupling device configured for coupling the layer of fresh pasta and the predetermined quantity of semi-finished food product. The coupling device includes at least one pair of synchronised forming rollers configured to rotate, respectively, on a first and a second rotation shaft and defining between the m the coupling space. Moreover, the coupling device is configured for performing, at each rotation cycle of said forming rollers, the production of an element of filled pasta by progressively wrapping said layer of fresh pasta around the predetermined quantity of semi-finished food product. The coupling device is configured to rotate the forming rollers at a variable speed, between a maximum speed and a minimum speed, during a single rotation cycle.

Abstract: A method for feeding articles including the steps of: feeding transversally, by means of a first conveyor, a succession of parallel rows of articles to a transfer area; moving longitudinally, using a second conveyor, a succession of rows of articles from the transfer area; sending at least one row of articles, coming from the first conveyor, to a storage unit whilst the row of articles is fed transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the row; transferring the row of articles inside the storage unit, positioning said row of articles in a longitudinal direction at an outfeed section of the storage unit; extracting longitudinally portions in sequence of said row, portions formed preferably by one or more articles, from the storage unit feeding said portions of row to the transfer area.

Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for packing products in cartons; the apparatus includes a first feed line for feeding cartons, a second feed line for feeding products, a plurality of pushing elements, each of which includes a first carriage configured to run on a first rail defining an active path and a second carriage configured to run on a second rail defining an inactive path; a diverting unit is provided which is configured to divert the pushing elements in transit towards the active path or the inactive path and which includes a first diverting rail and a second diverting rail; also provided are detection means for detecting the presence of the carton and/or of the product and switching means for switching the diverting unit.

Abstract: A method for controlling the operating parameters of a sealing unit of the follower type in a product packing machine, wherein the sealing unit comprises a sealing module movable with reciprocating motion along a feed path of a tubular film to be sealed. The method is implemented in accordance with a plurality of operating parameters and comprises the step of setting the value of at least one input operating parameter selectable at least between sealing time and production speed. The method also comprises the step of calculating the values of the remaining, unselected operating parameters as a function of the set value, where one or more of the remaining operating parameters are subject to restrictions connected with the machine architecture. The method also comprises the step of checking that the values calculated are compatible with respective reference ranges and/or with the restrictions.
