  • Patent number: 11976432
Abstract: A foundation for wind turbine towers of the type used to support both metal towers and concrete towers of wind turbines that uses precast concrete or metal beams, combined with small footings concreted in situ, the beams being structurally connected at the central part of the foundation by the elements of connection and of support of the tower is disclosed. The invention affords the main advantage of achieving a notable reduction in the volume of materials used, both concrete and rebar, with a great reduction in assembly time and the consequent great economic savings as well as its ease of adaptation to different terrains is presented.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 20, 2019
Date of Patent: May 7, 2024
    Assignee: HWS CONCRETE TOWERS, S.L.
Inventors: Jesus Montaner Fraguet, Jose Manuel Sorazu Echave, Mariano Abadia Perez
  • Publication number: 20240035249
Abstract: A foundation extension procedure is disclosed, of the type used in the extension of large structures, and especially its use in the reinforcement of existing wind turbine farms, founded in the earth, which uses an overlaid beams structure on the existing foundation and bonded to it, supported by new, smaller peripheral foundations, creating a new foundation capable of supporting a larger structure, which uses the old foundation as ballast. The main advantage of this procedure is that it allows a quick and economical installation, minimizing the environmental impact, reusing both the existing foundation and most of the complementary infrastructures in the case of wind turbines, achieving a new, larger and stronger foundation, completely integrated in the environment.

  • Patent number: 11655640
Abstract: Self-climbing device for vertical and quasi-vertical concrete surfaces with main body equipped with a main beam by way of displacement rail, and several self-motorized frames, independent of each other and separately controllable, displaceable along the main beam of the main body, all with a characteristic operating method. The present invention provides the main advantage of allowing going up or climbing any structure, device or machine, such as a crane or a working platform, being applicable and usable on both vertical and quasi-vertical surfaces, flat or curved, free geometry and with variable slope, and with advances or displacements unit of variable length, adapted to the structure or area to climb.
