  • Publication number: 20060182974
Abstract: Heat-hardened binder compositions based on at least one solid and/or liquid epoxide resin, a flexibilizing epoxide compound and an elastomer-modified epoxide resin as well as optionally latent hardeners are suitable for the production of multi-layer laminates, which consist of two outer metal plates and an interlayer of this binder matrix as well as optionally a flat material incorporated into the binder. These multi-layer laminates are suitable for the production of lightweight components for the construction of machinery, vehicles and tools and in particular for the construction of automobiles. Thus weight-optimized components with great strength and also optionally acoustic and/or reinforcing action can be produced.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 12, 2006
    Publication date: August 17, 2006
