  • Publication number: 20240086856
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method are provided for adaptively controlling communication activity of a communication system. The method stores user information comprising contact preferences, a goal, and account information. The system may receive external information by a trigger engine which applies a trigger rule to determine a degree of relatedness between the goal and at least one of external information and the account information. When the degree of relatedness exceeds a threshold, then the contact preferences may be used to format a communication related to the external information based on the contact preferences. The system may then send the communication to the user by the communication entity according to the contact preferences, and, based on a feedback or lack of feedback from the user related to the communication, adjust at least one of the contact preferences, the trigger rule, or a weighting factor of the trigger rule.

  • Publication number: 20230289539
Abstract: A method includes reading data encoded on a tiny RFID tag that is embedded in an integrated circuit. The RFID tag has an area of 0.1 mm2 or less and, alternatively, of 0.05 mm2 or less. When the data satisfies predetermined criteria, a capability of a device or system is unlocked. The method may be used in conjunction with artificial intelligence (AI) for identification and authentication, fraud detection, behavioral analysis, predictive analytics, and/or access control, for example. The method may also be used in credit and/or debit card transactions, in which the tiny RFID tag and integrated circuit are on a credit and/or debit card. In another embodiment, the RFID tag and IC are incorporated into a label. The label may optionally be on a good for sale.

  • Publication number: 20230230688
Abstract: \A method of unlocking an operation of a Class III medical device suitable for use in treating, for example, COVID 19 in humans is presented. An integrated circuit is inserted or integrated into a medical device having an RFID reader, the medical device having a capability that is in a locked state. The integrated circuit has a first tiny RFID tag embedded therein. The RFID tag has an area of about 0.1 mm2 or less. The RFID tag is a largely digital tag that is implemented using portable digital IP blocks, the RFID tag utilizing dual-phase RF-only logic.

  • Publication number: 20070092960
Abstract: The present invention provides industrial scale expanded bed adsorption process for fractionation and isolation of bio-molecules from fluids, preferably proteins from milk and whey, in a cost-effective manner. This is accomplished by operating the expanded bed column at high temperatures of at last 40° C., combined with applying flow rates greater than 1.500 cm/hour.

  • Publication number: 20060060536
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of distributing a liquid in the fluid bed of an up-flow or a down-flow fluid bed reactor. The invention provides efficient distribution and a plug flow like fluid flow through the fluid bed where turbulence and/or back-mixing of the fluid are minimised. In accordance with the invention a fluid bed system for use in treating a fluid by contacting the fluid with a solid phase media is provided and the system comprises a reactor chamber adapted to contain the solid phase media and at least one fluid distribution means adapted to distribute and/or deliver the fluid to be treated among the particles of the medium.

  • Publication number: 20050176122
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel method for the isolation or purification of immunoglobulins (a special class of proteins) from a solution containing immunoglobulins, e.g. hybridoma cell culture supernatants, animal plasma or sera, or colostrum. The method includes the use of a minimum of salts, such as lyotropic salts, in the binding process and preferably also the use of small amounts of organic solvents in the elution process. The solid phase matrices, preferably epichlorohydrin activated agarose matricees, are functionalised with mono- or bicyclic aromatic or heteroaromatic ligands (molecular weight: at the most 500 Dalton) which, preferably, comprises an acidic substituent, e.g. a carboxylic acid. The matrices utilised show excellent properties in a “Standard Immunoglobulin Binding Test” and in a “Monoclonal Antibody Array Binding Test” with respect to binding efficiency and purity, and are stable in 1M NaOH.
