  • Publication number: 20110217317
Abstract: The present invention relates to treatment of thrombocytopenia with a pharmaceutical composition comprising re-combinant polyclonal anti-RhesusD antibody product as the active ingredient.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 26, 2009
    Publication date: September 8, 2011
    Applicant: Symphogen A/S
Inventors: Christian Meyer, Anne Marie Valentin Jensen, Ewa Lindenstroem, An Van Es-Johansson
  • Publication number: 20100087113
Abstract: The invention relates to a steam permissive and water non-permissive screen, particularly a sub-roof screen, a rain-proof screen, an air-proof screen or the like. The screen (1) is characterised in that it mainly includes a non-woven fabric made of a mat or a web of a majority of natural fibres (2), preferably vegetable fibres, that has been submitted to a binding operation by pressurised liquid jets, or hydrobinding, and to a hydrophobation process.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 13, 2008
    Publication date: April 8, 2010
    Applicant: SOPREMA
Inventors: Pierre-Etienne Bindschedler, Marie Valentin, Remi Perrin
  • Publication number: 20100015425
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for making a non-woven mat to be used as a reinforcement for a frame in a flexible sealing membrane. The method is characterised in that it includes providing vegetable-origin natural fibres optionally mixed with a minority of thermoplastic or thermofusible fibres, forming a non-woven mat or web by mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic batting, submitting the web to two successive consolidation operations including a needle punching operation and a binding operation with a chemical binder or by a thermal processing preferably under pressure, and finally submitting the non-woven consolidated web to a process for the hydrophobation of the fibres.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 13, 2008
    Publication date: January 21, 2010
    Applicant: SOPREMA

  • Publication number: 20090093004
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for determining the in vitro potency of antibodies, in particular anti-Rhesus D positive antibodies. Such antibodies may e.g. be used in the prophylaxis of hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN), treatment of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and prevention of sensitization to the Rhesus D antigen after mistransfusions of RhD(+) blood to RhD(?) individuals. The invention also provides a method for monitoring the release of label from a RhD(+) red blood cell, a method for determining the ability of an antibody to induce the release of label from a RhD(+) red blood cell, and a method for determining whether a manufactured anti-RhD antibody fulfils a predefined release criterion. The invention further provides a kit for measuring the potency of an antibody.
