Abstract: Techniques are provided for streaming digital media content. In one embodiment, metadata associated with a digital media content title is retrieved prior to receiving any user request to play the digital media content title. Upon receiving a user request to play the digital media content title, a license is requested based on the retrieved metadata. Upon receiving the license, streaming playback of digital media content title begins.

Abstract: A vehicle warning system uses a switch placed on a vehicle childseat to determine occupancy of the seat, and a temperature detector to determine if an unsafe temperature exists in the vehicle interior. The system alarms if both these conditions exist to warn of a hazard to a child. The system installation in the vehicle is simply to place the switch on the childseat connect it into the system and provide power to the system. The system also provides a reminder if the alarm is turned off.

Abstract: Systems and processes are provided for transforming a style of a message. A processor is configured to facilitate determining a message (111) to be transmitted. Further, the message processor can facilitate selecting one or more styles responsive to a determination of a context (113) associated with the message; and can modify the message (127) in accordance with the context to provide a message having a re-configured style (145). The context can be determined from, for example, the recipient of the message (117), the content of the message (119), the context of the message (121), and/or a context of the processor (123). Optionally, pre-determined messages can be stored, wherein the user can select the message from the predetermined messages (101). In accordance with one or more embodiments, the message processor can be utilized in a communication device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are used for encoding (310) and decoding (408) a message encoded with at least one entertainment component after receiving the message contents from a sender. Instructions from the sender are used for selecting (304) the encoding method for the message content to provide the entertainment component. When the selected encoding method is not available locally, it may be downloaded (306) to the electronic device (200). The encoded message may be supplemented (316) with descriptive information regarding the encoding method used to provide the entertainment component of the encoded message. The encoded message may include aural, haptic and visual elements as part of the entertainment component.
