  • Patent number: 11617668
Abstract: A branched stent includes a main branch having a tubular main lumen and a side branch that branches off from the main branch. The main branch and the side branch are made from a strand-shaped starting material. The side branch is configurable between a first state in which the side branch lies within the main lumen and a second state in which the side lies outside the main lumen. In the second state, the side branch defines a tubular side branch fluidically connected to the main lumen. The side branch is formed at least in part of a shape-memory material.

  • Publication number: 20210030569
Abstract: The invention relates to a bifurcated stent (1) made of strand-shaped starting material, in particular of threads and/or wires (9), comprising a main branch (2), which includes an essentially tubular main lumen (4), and a side branch (3), which branches off from the main branch (2), wherein the side branch (3) can be transferred from a first state, in which the side branch (3) lies at least partially, preferably completely, inside the main lumen (4), into a second state, in which the side branch (3) lies outside the main lumen (4), wherein the side branch (3) in the second state comprises an essentially tubular side branch lumen (6), which is fluidically connected to the main lumen (4). According to the invention, the side branch (3) comprises a shape-memory material.

  • Patent number: 9072326
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective glove manufactured from at least two yarn components, wherein a first yarn component is processed continuously, and a second yarn component is left out in at least one region forming a predetermined tearing zone such that at least one predetermined tearing zone has a lower tearing resistance than the neighboring zones, wherein the predetermined tearing zone is provided at least partially with a coating.

  • Patent number: 8989500
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for extracting a random signature from a subject material element, comprising: a phase to generate at least one acquisition vector of structural characteristics of at least one region of the subject material element, a phase to generate at least one random signature vector from the acquisition vector, the random signature vector comprising: at least one random component having a stable nature so that its value may be found on each implementation of the method on one same region of the subject material element, and/or at least one random component having an unstable nature so that its value is likely to vary random fashion on each implementation of the method on one same region of the subject material element, use of the random signature vector as random signature.

  • Patent number: 6945841
Abstract: A doll having the likeness of a person or animal, wherein the doll form includes a body and head in the general shape of a human or animal is provided. The head includes a facial portion comprised of a first support having a receiving surface for receiving a face member. The face member is made of a second support having a transfer surface for transfer of facial features having the likeness of a particular person or animal. The first and second supports are compatible such that the face member is attached and secured to the receiving surface. The face member can be easily removed and changed with another face member having different facial features. Other exchangeable accessories, including hair and clothing, are used to customize the doll to become anyone so desired. The doll may also contain a voice recording mechanism to correlate to the voice of the individual whose facial features are on the face member.
