By heating this forming material, it is possible to form metal silver quickly even at a low temperature of approximately 210° C. or less. Examples of the silver ?-ketocarboxylate include silver isobutyrylacetate, silver benzoylacetate, silver acetoacetate, silver propionylacetate, silver ?-methylacetoacetate, and silver ?-ethylacetoacetate.
