  • Patent number: 12133828
Abstract: In a mobility support device, an external device that is present on a moving route of a user who is a target of support is identified based on a set moving plan, and first communication means that enables direct communication between the identified external device and a white cane carried by the user is established. Then, support information for supporting mobility of the user is generated based on information received from the external device by the first communication means, and the generated support information is output to an output device.

  • Patent number: 11432989
Abstract: A controller of a white stick system determines a walking direction of a person who acts without using eyesight based on sensor data acquired from built-in sensors, such as a camera, and generates a first notification to notify the determined walking direction. A wireless communication unit receives information regarding movement of a mobile object present around the person from a data communication module and a mobile terminal. The controller generates a second notification to notify a collision between the person who moves without using eyesight and the mobile object when the collision is predicted based on the information regarding movement of the mobile object.

  • Publication number: 20220160573
Abstract: An alert level of an operation for issuing an alert to a driver of a bicycle is set high in a case where a determination is made that the driver of the bicycle that approaches a pedestrian is unaware of a presence of the pedestrian, as compared with a case where a determination is made that the driver is aware of the presence of the pedestrian. For example, the alert level is increased by increasing an amount of light of a laser beam in a case where a circle having a predetermined radius is drawn by the laser beam on a road surface from a white cane owned by the pedestrian who is a person who is visually impaired.
