  • Publication number: 20240153203
Abstract: Generating a three-dimensional image of a vortex vein based on OCT volume data. An image processing method is performed by a processor and includes a step of acquiring OCT volume data including a choroid, and a step of extracting choroidal vessels based on the OCT volume data and generating a three-dimensional image of the choroidal vessels.

  • Publication number: 20070226412
Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention relate to realizing content protection by enhancing data safety by detecting falsification of data stored in a storage device. A storage device in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes an HDA (Head Disk Assembly) and a controller, and a nonvolatile memory that is connected to the controller. When writing data on a hard disk from an external device, validity of access is authenticated. When the authentication is successful, a digest of the data to be written is generated by using a hush function. The generated digest is stored in the nonvolatile memory. When reading out data, a digest of the data to be read out is generated, and the digest stored in the nonvolatile memory is read out, followed by verification of whether or not the digests coincide with each other.

  • Publication number: 20060064762
Abstract: A system for managing expiration date for use of contents, including: a computer having a CPU, a memory for storing programs, a clock device, a network I/O, and a removable media I/O; and a removable medium having a memory for storing a content sand last access time information indicating the last time of access to the contents, and a controller as a tamper-resistant module, access limit information being added to the contents, the contents being encrypted and stored, wherein: current time information is acquired from the clock device; the acquired current time is compared with the last access time on the memory of the removable medium to thereby control the contents on the removable medium in accordance with the expiration date as to whether the contents are enabled to be used, so that illegal access of the contents due to backdating of the clock device can be prohibited.

  • Publication number: 20050179938
Abstract: When a presentation is carried out by employing a projector and a remote printer is utilized, printing operation can be executed in a simple and safty manner. In an information processing apparatus having both a network connection function and either a liquid crystal projector function or a printer function, the information processing apparatus can use, or output data which has been stored in a remote computer based upon a remote terminal operating program which may replace a user interface of the remote computer connected via a network to the information processing apparatus, and a remote terminal server program. The remote terminal server program is stored in the remote computer, and is used to transfer a user interface of the remote computer to the information processing apparatus in correspondence with the remote terminal operating program.

  • Publication number: 20040006618
Abstract: In a network where one security policy applies to a plurality of network devices, a system is provided for generating a setup parameter set for such network devices that complies with their specifications and provides improved connectivity or interoperability. The system enables registering the specifications for network devices and the information on connectivity and interoperability among them. The specifications are stored, as is information on connectivity and interoperability. The results are used to check compatibility and establish a setup parameter set which has fewer incompatibilities.

  • Patent number: 6614663
Abstract: In a circuit board having a multilayer structure comprising a ground pattern and a power-supply pattern both, for example, by forming a plurality of slits along each side of the ground pattern or the power-supply pattern, a long thin conduction path connecting a corner and a side center of the ground pattern is formed and resistive elements are placed in the middles of the conduction path to short, circuit the corner and a side center of the ground pattern. Therefore, portions corresponding to an antinode and a node or antinode and an antinode of a standing wave are short-circuited. The standing wave is generated when electric power is supplied to ICs and LSIs mounted on the circuit board. Thus, noise sources caused by the standing wave cancel each other. As a result, the occurrence of an antiresonance phenomenon and an increase in impedance of the power supplying system caused by the standing wave can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6600243
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide an information processing device that is operable by a battery and which suppresses the generation of standing waves and has little radiation noise. In the information processing device of the present invention having means for connecting to a battery pack that stores a battery for supplying power to the information processing device, there is one or more capacitive element (for example, a capacitor) in the proximity of the terminals of the positive and negative poles of the battery when the battery pack is connected to the information processing device, and it is possible for at least the terminal of the positive pole of the battery or the terminal of the negative pole of the battery to be connected electrically to the ground of the information processing device by way of this capacitive element.
