  • Patent number: 11554614
Abstract: Tyre for a wheel of a vehicle, with a profiled tread for supporting the vehicle on the ground, provided with an adjustment device for adjusting a tread pattern height of the profiled tread. Method for at least partly replacing a profiled tread of such a tyre.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 30, 2017
Date of Patent: January 17, 2023
    Assignee: DRIVE TECHNOLOGY HOLLAND LTD.
Inventors: Marinus Johannes Cornelis Van Tilburg, Henricus Josephus Maria Essens, Johannes Constant Maria De Wijs, Hubertus Hendrikes Adrianus Van Kasteren
  • Patent number: 11326671
Abstract: The invention relates to a transmission comprising two circulating elements and a transmission element, such as a toothed belt. At least one circulating element comprises a number of contact elements for contact with the transmission element which determine a running radius of the transmission element, a radial guide for the contact elements, along which the latter are radially displaceable, displacement means for displacing the contact elements in the radial direction, wherein the transmission element has engagement elements such as teeth. Each of the contact elements comprises a base part which is in contact with the radial guide and with the displacement means, and an engagement member which is connected to the base part and is radially movable with respect to the base part, wherein the engagement member of at least one of the number of contact elements of the respective circulating element is in positive-locking contact with the transmission element.

  • Patent number: 11015684
Abstract: A continuously variable transmission including a first pulley means, a second pulley means and an elongate, flexible endless transmission element that is passed over both the first pulley means and the second pulley means, wherein the first pulley means include two sheaves which are adjustable in an axial direction of the first rotation axis line, and an adjusting means for moving the two adjustable sheaves toward and away from each other in the axial direction for setting an operative radius of the first pulley means at which the transmission element is passed over the first pulley means, wherein the first pulley means is provided with alignment means for causing the two movable sheaves to jointly move additionally in the axial direction of the first rotation axis under the influence of a force exerted in axial direction on the first pulley means by the transmission element while maintaining the operative radius.

  • Patent number: 10422418
Abstract: A transmission element for a transmission such as a continuously variable transmission, including an elongate flexible endless carrier element provided with a number of receiving spaces with an opening and with a passage extending through the number of receiving spaces in the longitudinal direction of the carrier element, a number of engaging elements which are each received in a receiving space for movement between an active position and a passive position and which in the active position protrude further inward than in the passive position and at least out of the opening of this receiving space so as to be able to engage in the active position with a pulley of the transmission, and a spring element for providing resistance for each of the number of engaging elements during movement from the active position in the direction of the passive position.
