Patent number: 11975890Abstract: An airplane tray cover multi-compartment holder system and method for holding and transporting a plurality of airplane tray covers. The system and method generally includes a case with a plurality of individual compartments for holding a tray cover isolated from other compartments. Individual compartments are defined by an arrangement of exterior and interior panels and surfaces. Each compartment has a corresponding door that is pivotable between open and closed positions. Each door has a window through which tray covers can be viewed without opening the door. A window may include a movable spring-biased latch for automatically latching the door to a stationary latch on the case as the door closes. The tray covers and compartments may have indicia that uniquely identify them. A tether with magnetic elements on its ends may be selectively attached to the case by joining the magnetic elements.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: QBSleeves, Inc.Inventors: Barbara J. Booth, Cornelia J. Klenk-Quinn, Mario A. Turchi

Patent number: 11209590Abstract: A luminaire includes a first plurality of lighting elements, a housing, and a first lightguide. The housing includes a body and first and second edge frames coupled with the body. The first and second edge frames are positioned on opposing sides of the body and are separated by a first distance. The first plurality of lighting elements is further positioned on the first edge frame. The first lightguide is positioned along the first edge frame in proximity to the first plurality of lighting elements and is configured to receive light from the first plurality of lighting elements. Further, the first lightguide extends a second distance along a plane toward the second edge frame, with the second distance being less than the first distance.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2020Date of Patent: December 28, 2021Assignee: RAB Lighting Inc.Inventors: Dan Wang-Munson, Wengang Gao, Cecil Thomas, Mario A. Patent number: 10905187Abstract: A collapsible helmet for use in various athletic activities, and which includes a structure that facilitates collapsing the helmet into a compact position for storage and/or transport of same. The helmet includes an outer shell having an inner cavity, and one or more flexible sheets, each of which includes a center portion and a plurality of segments. The sheets are positioned in the inner cavity such that they are movable and slideable relative to the outer shell and each other so as to allow the helmet to be collapsed from an open position to a collapsed position.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2020Date of Patent: February 2, 2021Assignee: GWENVENTIONS, LLCInventors: Ronnie Z. Patent number: 10479567Abstract: A drink container with torque-limiting lid is provided. The drink container includes a lid that can be threadably coupled to a container body having a volume to hold fluids. The lid can include an inner lid assembly concentric with an outer lid assembly. The inner lid assembly can include a multiple ratchet teeth along an outer perimeter and the outer lid assembly can include one or more ratchet pawls along an inner perimeter and configured to engage the ratchet teeth. Rotational force on the outer lid assembly can be transferred to the inner lid assembly from the ratchet pawls to the ratchet teeth to threadably couple the inner lid assembly to the container body. Once a torque limit is reached, the ratchet pawls can slip along the ratchet teeth preventing further tightening of the inner lid assembly to the container body.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2017Date of Patent: November 19, 2019Assignee: NUK USA LLCInventors: Peter Therrien, Richard Rubin, Mario A. Turchi, Steven Madsen

Patent number: 10279090Abstract: A breast milk storage system which comprises a mandrel for selective engagement with a bottle connector of a breast pump. The storage system also includes at least one clamp in pivotal engagement with the mandrel, and a lock ring. The lock ring is positioned for rotation about the mandrel and the at least one clamp. Rotation of the lock ring effectuates pivoting of the at least one clamp between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the at least one clamp is pivoted with respect to the mandrel and presses against the mandrel so as to retain a storage bag in place by pinching said storage bag between the at least one clamp and the mandrel.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2015Date of Patent: May 7, 2019Assignee: NUK USA LLCInventors: Michael Bambino, Robert Joachim, Mario A. Turchi, Ralph W. Dowdell, III, Richard Rubin, Allison F. Capozza

Patent number: 9961613Abstract: A system for minimizing driver distractions from a mobile device can include a blocking device and a blocking engine. The blocking device can include a first end, a second end, a cable, and a control board. The first end can include a first connector for coupling to a first port of a mobile device. The second end can include a second connector for coupling to a second port of a vehicle to receive a power signal from the vehicle. The cable can connect the first end to the second end. The control board can determine when movement of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value and transmit a launch signal. The blocking engine can receive the launch signal from the control board and launch a mobile application on the mobile device.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2017Date of Patent: May 1, 2018Assignee: RIVE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Tyler Marshall Nathan, Matthew P.
