Abstract: A universal joint includes a cross to which two forks are hinged, of which a first fork includes a hub fixable to an end of a connecting shaft and a second fork including a hub provided with a coaxial cavity able to receive a power take-off, and a protective casing which can cover the first and second fork. The protective casing includes: a first cover solidly constrained to the first fork and coupled thereto by a rotational joint, which enables reciprocal rotations of the hub of the first fork about the axis; a second cover solidly constrained to the second fork and coupled thereto by a further rotational joint, which enables reciprocal rotations of the hub of the second fork about the axis; and a flexible sleeve interposed so as to connect the first cover to the second cover.
