Abstract: The invention relates to a handle device (1) for a lock unit of a vehicle and to a method for releasing a lock cylin- der of a lock unit, said device comprising a handle part (10) which is movably mounted relative to a door (11) of the vehicle and which can be displaced between a rest position and an operating position, the handle part (10) being flush with the exterior of the door (11) in the rest position and projecting from the exterior of the door (11) in the operating position. The handle part (10) can be manually actuated to open the door (11) when in the operating position. The handle device further comprises an actuating unit (12) which can be used to transfer the handle part (10) at least from the rest position to the operating position when the actuating unit (12) is activated.

The housing of the locking cylinder is fastened to the body of a vehicle by a fastener. The fastener used to fasten the housing of the locking cylinder on the body is also used as a connector for fastening the housing upper part on the housing lower part.

Said actuator comprises a support (20), an actuating element (30), an electronic unit (50) and a detector system (60), the actuating element (30) being arranged on the support (20), the detector system (60) being arranged in the region of the actuating element (30) and at least a locking or unlocking action being triggerable directly or indirectly on the detector system (60). The electronic unit (50) interacts with the detector system (60) and the electronic unit (50) controls a locking system (40) for locking or unlocking. The invention is characterized in that a receiving unit (70) is integrated into the support (20) and/or into a handle shell (32) in a material fit, at least a part of the electronic unit (50) being permanently accommodated in the receiving unit (70).

Abstract: A locking cylinder comprises a two-part housing, comprising an upper part and a lower part. A cylinder core (20) is received in said housing and can be actuated by turning a key. The housing of the locking cylinder is fastened to the body of a vehicle (34) by fastening means (30). The aim of the invention is to reduce the space required by and simplify handling of the locking cylinder. For this purpose, the fastening means (30) used to fasten (34) the housing of the locking cylinder on the body is also used as a connecting means for fastening the housing upper part on the housing lower part.
