    Abstract: A photographic imaging element is disclosed which comprises a support having on one side thereof at least one silver halide emulsion layer and having, in order, on the opposite side thereof an electrically-conductive layer coated from a coating composition comprising a polythiophene/polyanion composition containing a polythiophene with conjugated polymer backbone component and a polymeric polyanion component, and a protective topcoat comprised of a polyurethane binder which has a tensile elongation to break of at least 50% and a Young's modulus measured at 2% elongation of at least 50000 lb/in2; wherein the electrical resistivity of the electrically-conductive layer before photographic processing is less than 2×109 &OHgr;/□, after photographic processing is between 1×109 &OHgr;/□ and 1×1011 &OHgr;/□, and increases by at least one order of magnitude as a result of photographic processing.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention a photographic element contains a first electrically-conductive layer and a second electrically-conductive layer. The first conductive layer has an electrical resistivity of less than 1.times.10.sup.9 .OMEGA./.quadrature. before film processing and an electrical resistivity of greater than 1.times.10.sup.11 .OMEGA./.quadrature. after film processing. The second conductive layer has an electrical resistivity of between 1.times.10.sup.9 .OMEGA./.quadrature. and 1.times.10.sup.11 .OMEGA./.quadrature. both before and after film processing. Both of the electrically-conductive layers are transparent. In an alternative embodiment, the photographic element contains a transparent electrically-conductive layer containing a first electrically-conductive agent and a second electrically-conductive agent. The electrically-conductive layer has an electrical resistivity of less than 1.times.10.sup.9 .OMEGA./.quadrature.

The gelatin-grafted polyurethane is covalently bound to the polyurethane through a grafting agent wherein the ratio of gelatin to polyurethane is from 1:10 to 2:1.     Abstract: In accordance with this invention, a photographic film especially suited for motion imaging film applications such as motion picture film or television film has on one side of a support material, in order, a process surviving, electrically conductive subbing layer, a photographic emulsion, and a protective overcoat; and on the opposite side a carbon black-containing backing layer, and optionally, a lubricant that overlies the backing layer. The carbon black-containing layer provides antihalation and antistatic protection for the unprocessed film. The conductive subbing layer retains its antistatic properties after processing so that the motion imaging film is protected from the generation of static charge after the carbon black-containing layer is removed during processing. The conductive subbing layer has a resistivity of less than 5.times.10.sup.9 .OMEGA./.quadrature. after film processing.
