  • Publication number: 20140301773
Abstract: A coupling for furniture components includes two cheeks, each including a plurality of seats which, when matched, define housings for tubular elements such as furniture legs to be secured between the two cheeks. Each seat opens at the edge of the respective cheek and has a cross-section defining, with a facing seat, a housing with a cross-section that is slightly less than that of the tubular element to be secured. In one embodiment, a flat longitudinal wall in the seat blocks the rotation of the tubular element within the housing. Each seat in at least one cheek is also provided with a projecting element cooperating with a complementary aperture defined in the tubular element, and in one embodiment has an arched portion extending from the seat towards the facing cheek to define a closed cross-section that engages the tubular element.

  • Patent number: 5927729
Abstract: A shoe, particularly for skating, includes a soft upper below which a sole for walking is rigidly coupled. The shoe has, at the lower surface of the sole and longitudinally thereto, a seat for a rigid plate having temporary engagement member for a grip member associated with a supporting frame for in-line wheels. A rigid cuff is associated with the upper, oscillates transversely and longitudinally with respect to the upper, and cooperates with an element for limiting and controlling the oscillation which is associated with the supporting frame for the in-line wheels. It is thus possible to use the shoe both for ordinary walking and for skating.

  • Patent number: 5855380
Abstract: A supporting frame for in-line wheels or for an ice-skating blade, including elements for the temporary engagement, centering, and locking of coupling elements which are rigidly coupled below and to the rear of a soft shoe that is adapted for walking. It is thus possible to use, for skating, a shoe used for normal walking.

  • Patent number: 5778566
Abstract: A sports shoe comprising a soft innerboot (2) having a cuff (5) that partially wraps around the user's leg. A semirigid collar (6) is associated with the cuff (5) and is laterally provided with first guiding seats (8a, 8b) for tabs (19a, 19b) that protrude from a semirigid body (15) associated with the innerboot (2) at least in the heel region (4), the collar (6) being connected to the body at the rear. The sports shoe allows to obtain a comfortable fit and correct movement of the user's foot during sports practice.
