  • Publication number: 20240133846
Abstract: A method for determining the set of focal laws of a plurality of focal points located in a test object includes the steps of providing a bidimensional array of transducer elements in a coupling medium and defining at least a scan line by a set of focal points. For each scan line, the method comprises performing the sub-steps of choosing a two preliminary focal points, calculating a first auxiliary time-of-flight corresponding to the time-of-flight of a wave emitted from the corresponding transducer element and received in the first preliminary focal point, and a second auxiliary time-of-flight corresponding to the time-of-flight of a wave emitted from the same transducer and received in the second preliminary focal point.

  • Patent number: 10607586
Abstract: A system and method eliminate the drag associated with CPU drag on experienced by combine audio streams from multiple sources. The embodiments receive audio signals from two separate audio sources and apply a MIDI based timing signature to the audio signals. The audio signals are synchronized according to the MTC signature signal and combined, when synchronized, at a summing module for output as a combined audio stream. Some embodiments include monitoring for and publishing a start/stop command signal to users in the collaboration to help synchronize audio signals from the different users.

  • Publication number: 20120080027
Abstract: The invention relates to a solar receiver with natural circulation for generating saturated steam, which uses water/steam as a heat-transfer fluid and includes a combined circuit for fluid recirculation (forced circulation and natural circulation). The system comprises: water-walls which receive the radiation on the surface thereof and inside which the working fluid changes phase; riser pipes through which the water/steam mix exiting the pipes of the receiver rises towards the boiler; downpipes through which the recirculation water descends from the boiler to the receiver; and a support pump in order to increase the incident power in the receiver and start up the plant when necessary.
