  • Publication number: 20060166613
Abstract: A handheld power tool, in particular a handheld right-angle grinder (10), has an electric motor drive for a motor housing (11) that accommodates a tool and also has a handle (15), which is retained on the motor housing (11) by means of a handle mounting device (30) located between them, which handle mounting device has a mount (40), fastened to the motor housing (11), and at least one vibration-damping element (50) that is in communication with the mount (40) and the handle (15). The handle mounting device (30) has a mounting plate (60), on which the handle (15) is fastened by means of a fixation device. The at least one vibration-damping element (50) is located between the mount (40) and the mounting plate (60) and is solidly joined to them to form a unitary component.

  • Publication number: 20050224244
Abstract: The invention is based on a power tool with at least one handle (10, 26, 50, 62, 104) that comprises at least one grip part (12, 72, 106) that is firmly connected to a mounting part (16, 70, 110) via at least one elastic, vibration-damping element (14, 24, 52, 108), via which the grip part (12, 72, 106) is affixable to a housing (60). It is proposed that the connection between the grip part (12, 72, 106) and the mounting part (16, 70, 110) is secured by means of the elastic element (14, 24, 52, 108) via at least one movable retaining element (20, 22, 28, 64, 112).

  • Publication number: 20010011846
Abstract: A hand power tool has a housing; at least one handle having at least one gripping part; at least one elastic, vibration-damping element; a mounting part mounted on the elastic element; the gripping part being mounted on the housing through the elastic element and through the mounting element; and at least one movable safety element through which the gripping part is connected with the mounting part.

  • Patent number: 6137796
Abstract: A packet non-replicating comparator device for use in a digital simulcast radio communication system generates a single seed copy of a timestamped information data packet (per channel) for transmission to either a multicast capable packet-switched network or to a packet duplicator coupled to a unicast capable packet-switched network. The multicast capability of packet-switched networks is utilized to simplify the hardware and software complexity at the comparator site, by assigning the responsibility for performing simulcast (timestamped) packet replication and distribution (to the appropriate transmitters) to the coupled packet-switched network. As a result, the elimination of the comparator performed function of sourcing multiple (replicated) packets of a seed copy frees up valuable link bandwidth and improves processing capability and makes possible the generation of multiple non-replicated packets corresponding to associated ones of multiple channels by a single comparator device.

  • Patent number: 5867488
Abstract: In a digital multi-channel simulcast system, a redundant centralized timestamping device acts as a simulcast controller for multiple channels simultaneously. All packets within a regional multi-channel system which require simulcast transmission are sent to a central timestamping device which determines the appropriate launch timestamp for each packet and attaches it thereto. The timestamping device is able to support concurrent timestamping sessions for each channel of a multiple channel system and can be dynamically assigned (trunked) to service any given radio channel on a packet by packet, call by call, or less frequent basis.

  • Patent number: 5867491
Abstract: A packet voting server and associated method for performing voting services on multiple radio channels simultaneously and including capability to be dynamically assigned (trunked) to service any given radio channel, for example, on a packet by packet, call by call, or less frequent basis.

  • Patent number: 5679066
Abstract: An eccentric disk grinder has a grinding disk, an eccentric shaft fixedly connected with the grinding disk, a motor, a shaft having an axis arranged so that the motor eccentrically, circulatingly and rotatably moves around the axis of the shaft, with the eccentric shaft being rotatable relative to the shaft, a braking device provided for delaying movement of the grinding disk and having a braking element which follows the movement of the grinding disk and is delayable relative to the grinding disk.

  • Patent number: 5425666
Abstract: An eccentric disk grinder has a housing, a motor accommodated in the housing and having a shaft provided with an eccentric member, a first bearing supporting the shaft, a grinding disk eccentrically, circulatingly and rotatingly driven by the motor through the shaft, and a second bearing in which the grinding disk is rotatable relative to the shaft about an axis of the eccentric member. The second bearing includes at least one first bearing which takes up substantially radial forces and supports at least one of the shaft and the eccentric member at its end facing the grinding disk. The bearings also have at least another second bearing which takes up substantially axial forces and supports at least one of the shaft and the eccentric member at its side facing away from the grinding disk.
