Abstract: Production of atmospheric distillate from a hydrocarbon feedstock that comprises a stage for the formation of a gas mixture that contains hydrogen and carbon monoxide, an at least partial conversion stage of the gas mixture that is obtained so as to obtain a liquid effluent that contains hydrocarbons and a gas effluent that contains carbon dioxide, a stage for treating the gas effluent under conditions that make it possible to eliminate the carbon dioxide at least partly, a first stage of fractionation of the liquid fraction, an isomerizing hydrocracking stage in the presence of hydrogen and a second fractionation stage.

Abstract: A synthetic, crystalline, porous material is disclosed, together with the related preparation process. Such material of zeolitic nature containing oxides of silicon, titanium and gallium corresponds, in the calcined and anhydrous state, to the following empyrical formula:pHGaO.sub.2.qTiO.sub.2.SiO.sub.2,wherein p has a value greater than zero and smaller than or equal to 0.050, and q has a value greater than zero and smaller than or equal to 0.025, and the H.sup.+ of HGaO.sub.2 can be at least partially replaceable or replaced by cations.

Abstract: A process for the alkylation of aliphatic hydrocarbons with olefins catalyzed by a silica-based material, characterised in that the surface Si--OH groups of said silica are esterified with a fluoroalkylsulphonic acid of formula CF.sub.3 (CF.sub.2).sub.n SO.sub.3 H, where n is a whole number between 0 and 11, said material having a Hammett acidity Ho.ltoreq.-11.4.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for preparing complexes of metals of the VIII Group of the Periodic Table, useful as hydrogenation catalysts. The method, as a single-step process, comprises reacting a polymeric complex containing V Group elements and VIII Group metal compounds directly with a metal atom which is directly bound to the V group element in the presence of a reducing substance. The reducing substance is selected among alkali metal and alkaline earth metal hydrides, mixed alkaline-III group element hydrides, organic metallic compounds of III Group metals, alkali metal and alkaline earth metal alkyls, Grignard compounds.
