  • Publication number: 20240009497
Abstract: A device for monitoring and controlling the extinguishment of a source of fire or the like in a conveyed material flowing in a pipeline. Danger sources are detected by a sensor system and controlled by introducing a fire extinguishing agent via extinguishing nozzles embedded in the pipe wall. For this purpose, a main controller and a large number of decentralized monitoring devices are provided for monitoring the functioning of each valve unit and of an extinguishing nozzle that is connected downstream to the valve of each valve unit and is to be supplied with the fire extinguishing agent. In the process, feedback is sent from the monitoring device to the central main controller.

  • Patent number: 10919448
Abstract: A molded part comprises a decorative layer having a visible front side, a rear side, and a backing that is situated on the rear side of the decorative layer. The decorative layer comprises a decorative ply having a front side, a rear side that faces the backing, a light-conducting optical layer, situated between the front side of the decorative ply and the front side of the decorative layer, having a first refractive index. Situated in at least one symbol area of the decorative layer, between the decorative ply and the optical layer, is a transparent or translucent effect layer for displaying one or more symbols, and that has a second refractive index that is different from the first refractive index. The molded part includes a first light system for scattering light internally about the symbol, and a second light system for illuminating a front side of the symbol externally.

  • Publication number: 20210001591
Abstract: A molded part comprises a decorative layer having on its front side a decorative ply of a wood veneer, wherein: a grain structure of the wood veneer is visible on the front side thereof, the grain structure has light regions and dark regions, a large number of light passages are provided in the decorative layer, and the light passages extend through the decorative layer; a translucent carrier; a light element comprising a light source and light passages arranged to imitate the grain structure of the wood veneer on the front side of the decorative ply, such that the density of the light passages in the decorative layer is dependent on the grain structure on the front side of the wood veneer, whereby, in the dark regions of the grain structure, there is a higher density or lower density of light passages than in the light regions of the grain structure.
