  • Patent number: 10082222
Abstract: The invention discloses an air vent valve for venting a filter, having a cavity with an inlet and an outlet and a sealing element in the interior of the cavity for sealing the inlet in a first position and for sealing the outlet in a second position. The sealing element is freely movable between the first position and the second position, and a flow is created between the inlet and the outlet when the sealing element is in an intermediate position between the first position and the second position.

  • Publication number: 20170112990
Abstract: A balancing method and a balancing device (100, 101, 200, 201, 301, 303) for determining a fluid balance between a flow quantity in a first flow path (FW1) and a flow quantity in a second flow path (FW2) are disclosed. The disclosed balancing device (100, 101, 200, 201, 301, 303) comprises the following elements: a differential flow measuring unit (D) for measuring the differential flow between a flow in the first flow path (FW1) and a flow in the second flow path (FW2), a branch from one of the two flow paths (FW1, FW2) for diverting fluid from one of the two flow paths into the other flow path (W), a device for setting the flow quantity (P11, P12) in the additional flow path, which can be controlled in such a way that the measured differential flow fulfills a predetermined condition, and with a device (K) for determining the flow quantity in the additional flow path as a measure of the fluid balance.

  • Publication number: 20110275365
Abstract: A method and respectively adapted components of a wireless communication network are described for determining a connection setup request success rate in the wireless communication system. In a first step, carried out in a mobile station, a connection setup request is transmitted from a mobile station to a network element of said wireless communication system, wherein said connection setup request includes, in the case that the connection setup request is a repeated connection setup request, an information element indicating that the connection setup request is a repeated connection setup request. In a second step, said connection setup request from said mobile station is received in said network element and repetition-related data are determined from an information element in said connection setup request if said information element indicates that the received connection setup request is a repeated connection setup request.

  • Patent number: 7742779
Abstract: A method synchronizes a radio communication system that is divided up into radio cells. According to the method, every radio cell has one base station each for the radio coverage of a plurality of mobile stations assigned to the radio cell. The base station receives, in addition to mobile station signals of its own radio cell, mobile station signals of neighboring radio cells. The base station determines, on the basis of the mobile station signals received, the number of mobile stations and compares this number with a defined threshold value. When the number determined falls below the threshold value, a first synchronization method for synchronizing the base station and the assigned mobile stations is used, the first method corresponding to an assigned transmission standard of the radio communication system. When the threshold value is exceeded, a second synchronization method is used for synchronizing the base station and the assigned mobile stations.
