Abstract: A computer implemented method and a video generator system (VGS) for generating a video are provided. The VGS acquires video templates from one or more sources and identifies one or more customizable elements in each video template. The VGS presents the video templates to a user device via an interactive interface for enabling selection and individual customization of each video template. The VGS acquires a selection of one or more video templates from the user device and renders the identified customizable elements of the selected video templates to the user device via the interactive interface. The VGS acquires media content for each rendered customizable element of the selected video templates from the user device via the interactive interface. The VGS generates the video by modifying each rendered customizable element of the selected video template using the acquired media content and collating the modified customizable elements of the selected video template.
