    Abstract: The invention is concerned with an automatic control system for a clutch for coupling two rotatable shafts. The system comprises a piston for controlling a clutch mounted between two shafts. Control of the piston is obtained through a pressurized fluid which acts according to the position of a slide member which is movable in relative rotation controlled by a coupling device sensitive to a speed difference between the shafts. The invention is applicable to an automotive vehicle so as to put it temporarily into four wheel drive.
