  • Patent number: 5718067
Abstract: The ski boot essentially consists of a lower part (1), in the form of a shell with a variable volume, and a boot leg, in the form of a collar (2). The collar (2) is articulated on the shell. The shell has two tightening buckles (4, 5) and the collar (2) has a closure and tightening buckle (6) located just below its upper end. The collar (2) has a lower-leg belt (10) surrounding the shell above the point of articulation (3) of the collar (2) on the shell. The lower-leg belt (10) has a closure and tightening buckle (11). When buckle (11) is closed and tightened, the buckle's tightening direction (F) passes above the point of articulation (3) in a slightly inclined direction towards the rear of the boot. The lower-leg belt (10) may consist of a material which is stiffer than the collar (2). The lower-leg belt (10) improves how the ski boot holds the lower leg without having to increase the apparent stiffness of the collar and without reducing the possibility of forward flexing of the collar by the lower leg.

  • Patent number: 5575091
Abstract: Ski boot made of plastic material constituted by a shell (1) surrounding the foot and the heel and by a collar (2) articulated on the shell and equipped with a rigid reinforcement (4) intended to ensure a good transfer of the movements of the leg to the ski. This reinforcement is fixed to the collar. It is asymmetrical and extends along the back of the collar, mainly on the inner side of the boot in its upper part (43).

  • Patent number: 5501090
Abstract: Housing (1, 20) for lodging conventional flat keys or keys of a special kind (2, 2a, 2b'-2b", 2c, 2d), in a safe but removable way. The laminar housing (1, 20) is realized by elastically flexible plastic material s of a type and form like a rectangular "credit card", and it is provided with a central opening (5, 21) whose peripheral edge (10, 22) defines a space for lodging a key or more superimposed keys. At the site of the opening (5, 21), elastic seizing elements (7--7) may project out of the housing (1, 20) acting on the lateral fins of the heads (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) or on the stems (4, 4a, 4c, 4d) of the keys.

  • Patent number: 5343640
Abstract: Ski boot made of plastic material comprising a rigid shell (1), on which a collar (2) is articulated and which is provided with clamping members. The collar (2) has at the rear a slit (11), the opening of which is adjustable by means of a rigid rider (30) inserted into notches (20, 21) provided on each side of the lips. This adjustment is intended for adapting the boot to the morphology of the calf of the skier while ensuring a firm backward lean.

  • Patent number: 5243774
Abstract: Ski boot made of plastic material comprising:a shell (1) intended to receive the foot of the skier and the lower part of the leg;a deformable collar (3) which is articulated (4) in relation to the shell (1), intended to enclose the lower part of the leg and has a wide opening (15) in its rear part and, on the front, flaps (7, 8) which overlap and interact with closing (38, 37) and clamping members;a rigid rear cover (20) which is articulated in relation to the shell (1) and intended to close the rear opening of the deformable collar (3);an inner boot (40) intended to receive the foot and the lower part of the leg of the skier, characterized in that, in the use position, the rear cover (20) rests on by coming to abut on the collar (3) and is kept in abutment against the collar (3) by a closing member (30, 31).

  • Patent number: 5134792
Abstract: The boot is of the rear-fitting type and comprises a hinged upper consisting of two parts (3, 4) and provided with a first tensioning lever (6) acting on a cable, one end of which is connected to a second tensioner (9) permanently connected to the front part (3) of the upper. When the first tensioner (6) is closed, opening of the second tensioner (9) ensures sufficient relaxation of the upper to allow a rest position and facilitate walking.
