Abstract: A solid particulate capturing device comprises a first plate (2) having at least one inlet section (6) for an exhaust gas flow, a second plate (3), parallel to the first (2), having at least one outlet section (7) for the exhaust gas flow. The first (2) and the second plate (3) are axially spaced apart and form, with an annular lateral wall (4), interposed between the first (2) and the second plate (3), an entrapment chamber (5) for solid particulate conveyed in suspension in the exhaust gas flow produced by a battery. The outlet section (7) present on the second plate (3) is axially out of alignment with the inlet section (6) present on the first plate (2), in such a way that the inlet section (6) faces a solid portion (8) of the second plate (3) which acts as an obstructing surface for the solid particulate.

Abstract: Described is a safety disc comprising a foil element (3) having a thickness (s) of between 15 ?m and 1 mm and at least one non-through cut (2) having a width (L) less than or equal to 200 ?m, such that the ratio between width (L) and depth (H) is less than or equal to 2 and that the angle of penetration (a) of the cut is less than 90°.

The step of making at least one cut (5) is obtained by application of a laser beam (8) directly onto said metallic surface (2a).

Abstract: New halogenated esters of polycarboxylic acids are disclosed. The esters are useful, for instance, as particularly efficacious plasticizers for polymers and/or copolymers of vinyl chloride and/or vinylidene chloride. Compositions based on such polymeric materials and plasticized by means of the new halogenated esters of polycarboxylic acids are also disclosed.

Abstract: Coating compositions for metal substrates comprising a mixture of ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymers, said mixture including an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer having 50-60 mol % of tetrafluoroethylene with a melting point from about 250.degree. C to about 315.degree. C and an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer having more than 60 or less than 45 mol % of tetrafluoroethylene with a melting point from about 180.degree. C to about 285.degree. C and a latent solvent. The composition may optionally include a fluidizing solvent and various pigments, inert fillers and other additives.
