Abstract: Automatic carding machine for uppers including a carriage upholding the upper to be scraped and travelling longitudinally along guides constrained to the top of the machine. The upper sector of the carriage runs on similar guides transversely. The movements can be performed simultaneously by means of independent activation members and the carriage translation speed as well as the upper sector are programmable so that the card can intervene in variable measure on the different peripheral parts of the upper arranged on the carriage. The tool or card automatically reverses its direction of rotation so as to roughen the back of the shoe from the outside toward the inside.

Abstract: A machine for folding and gluing peripherally the edges of a piece of work has a top on which the piece of work moves, a motor for transporting the moving piece of work, and a folding shoe which cooperates with a guide. A glue is fed. A plurality of actuators (Al-An) controls the various parts of the machine, and a control unit (UC) controls the machine operating parameters. The control (UC) has a programming device (PR) connected to the actuators (Al-An), a memory (M) accessible through the programming device (PR) and is designed to contain the parameters used in a more recent processing of the work executed manually by the operator. The operating parameters for processing a given piece of work are furnished to the machine through a learning phase controlled manually by the operator.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for guiding laminar elements for processing, particularly intended for hide and synthetic material folding machines, which comprises a working element (15) having an active end (15a) engageable by contact with a laminar element (10) being processed, and supporting and drive means (11) for the working element (15) adapted to impart cyclic oscillations to the active end (15a) defining a path comprising a section (30) raised off the laminar element (10) and a section (31) of contact with that same laminar element (10), the contact section (31) extending along a predetermined feed direction of the laminar element (10).

Abstract: A binding machine for the application of a strip of flexible material around the outline of thin articles, particularly for edging parts for boots and shoes, comprising a fork with an alternating movement for folding the strip partly above and partly below the outline of a thin article, means for causing adhesive to be placed between the said strip and the said article, and a pressure and transportation group for the intermittent pressing of the strip against the article, after the folding operation performed by said fork, and for sending said article forward as it has been edged, said pressure and transportation group comprising a hammer shaped part and an anvil shaped part mounted on a hollow shaft oscillating about its axis, which parts are caused to move the one towards the other and vice versa by a rod placed in the hollow shaft and movable in a reciprocating way.
