Abstract: A clamping module of or for a medical pump, and a method for identifying a hose clamp of a disposable infusion article insertable into the clamping module. The clamping module includes an electro-optical system for identifying the hose clamp, which has an optical marking. The electro-optical system includes a first light source for emitting at least a first light beam and a second light source for emitting at least a second light beam. The second light source is formed differently than the first light source. A photodetector receives a reflected light, and an optical window bundles the first light beam and/or the second light beam on the disposable infusion article, as well as the reflected light received by the photodetector. The method identifies the hose clamp based on a color and uses a measurement algorithm after insertion of the hose clamp into the medical pump.

Abstract: A medical pump includes a cuboid pump housing and a front lid that is pivotably hinged to the pump housing. The front lid includes a display, in particular a touch display, and/or operating elements. The front lid is attached to the pump housing with at least one first hinge element and at least one second hinge element. The at least one first hinge element and/or the at least one second hinge element includes or forms at least one electrical connection between the pump housing and the front lid for electrical linking and exchange of data.

Abstract: A linear peristaltic infusion pump has a pump housing to which a front lid is pivotably hinged to open and close the front lid. A peristaltic pump unit is pivotably received in the pump housing. A pivoting mechanism is functionally connected to the front lid to pivot the peristaltic pump unit backward into the pump housing when the front lid is open, and to pivot the peristaltic pump unit forward and away from the pump housing when the front lid is closed.
