  • Publication number: 20050133969
Abstract: A Venturi suction system for generating a partial vacuum on the outlet for the exit of the tube made of flexible material from the cavity of the mold. The use of the Venturi suction system limits the consumption of aspirated air and of energy to the amounts strictly required to convey the flexible tube into the cavity of the mold, from the extrusion head to the outlet. This Venturi system has no inertia and ensures immediate response to any requests to vary the flow-rate of the air, both as a function of the thermoplastic nature of the material of which the tube is made, and as a function of the speed with which it passes through the cavity of the mold.

  • Publication number: 20030164581
Abstract: A device for extruding and blow-molding thermoplastic tubular components with an extrusion head. The head has a central stem which is perforated in an axial direction. A distribution body lies radially around the stem so as to radially distribute the stream of thermoplastic material. An annular extrusion port is arranged downstream. The invention allows to avoid stagnations of material and to easily adapt the device to various types of thermoplastic material.

  • Patent number: 5965082
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a blow-molded tubular body having multiple dimensions with the following stages:a) extrusion of a tubular component that is closed at the front, with injection of gas inside the tubular component (10), and engagement of the tubular component with a shaping unit (12, 13),b) deposition of the shaped tubular component, in the plastic state, on a high-level half-mold part (15),c) free descent of a part of the tubular component onto a low-level half-mold part (18), located at a level that is lower than that of the high-level half-mold part (15),d) closure of the half-mold and blow-molding.
