  • Publication number: 20220169388
Abstract: Systems and methods may be used to create a virtual queue to regulate movement of individuals within a confined space, between each individual's assigned location within the confined space, and a commodity location of a shared commodity. A request is received from an individual to use the shared commodity, and the individual is assigned to a position in a virtual queue for the shared commodity, based on the individual's request, requests from other individuals, the additional inputs, a layout of the confined space, the assigned location of the individual, and/or the commodity location. The individual may be notified that he or she may use the shared commodity when the position of the individual in the virtual queue reaches a top of a sequential listing of entries of the virtual queue. Such systems and methods may be implemented or integrated into passenger transportation vehicles, such as aircraft, trains, and/or buses.
