Abstract: The invention relates multilayer films with ink-printable skin layer(s) bonded to the base or core layer without intermediate layers, whereby the core layer or base layer comprises at least 50% of at least one of a polypropylene homopolymer, a polypropylene random copolymer or a heterophasic polypropylene copolymer and the stiff and die cuttable skin layer(s) whereby the film has a thickness of up to 80 ?m, a tensile modulus according to DIN EN ISO 527-3 of from 600 to 1500 Mpa, and the impact energy according to DIN 53373 is not more than 3 Nm/mm film thickness and the maximum deflection according to DIN 53373 is not more than 5 mm. The films are useful for label applications.
