Abstract: An ankle support article has a body with a generally cylindrical configuration and adapted to conform to a shape of the human ankle. The body has a first portion and a second portion integrally formed together of a flexible material. The first portion is adapted to extend over a heel portion of the human foot. The second portion is adapted to extend over the human ankle and over a portion of a human calf. The body has a slot formed between edges at a forward part of the body. An endoskeletal structure is affixed to the body and extends along sides of the first and second portions of the body and across a bottom of the first portion of the body.

Abstract: An assembly for cold therapy to a joint of a person or an animal has a panel formed of a foam material, and a plurality of ice packs positioned within the foam material of the panel in a location between an inner side and an outer side of the panel. The panel is adapted to wrap around at least a portion of the joint. The assembly further includes a wrap extending across the outer side of the panel. This wrap has a length suitable for wrapping around the joint. The plurality of ice packs are arranged in rows and columns within the panel. The foam material is a polyurethane open cell foam material. The wrap is formed of an elastomeric material. The wrap has a fastener thereon that is adapted to affix one end of the wrap to an outer surface of the wrap.

Abstract: A protective boot for the ankle of a horse includes a flexible panel with a middle portion and two opposing side portions extending outwardly therefrom. The middle portion is suitable for abutting the digital flexor tendon of the horse. The two opposing side portions are suitable for wrapping around the ankle of the horse. A slot is provided which extends along the digital extensor tendon and is defined by the two opposing side portions. A cup is formed at a bottom of the middle portion, the cup receiving the proximal sesamoid bones of the ankle of the horse. Lateral grooves are provided, which are positioned over the palmar digital veins of the horse. The flexible panel includes an outer foam layer and an inner heat-absorbing layer. A reinforcing elastic wrap is removably affixed around the flexible panel.

Abstract: An improved saddle pad placed between the saddle and a horse that suspends the areas of highest pressure points from saddle bars. The improved saddle pad redistributes surrounding pressure evenly 360 degrees, not allowing highest pressure point areas from saddle bars to touch the shoulders of the horse. In a preferred embodiment, a circle cutout is reinforced with silicone rubber to prevent wear and redistributes surrounding pressure and allows the saddle bars to settle within circle cut out area pad closer to the horse reducing roll from side to side.
