    Abstract: A sensor is provided for recording a pressure of a fluid medium. The sensor includes a sensor housing, a pressure sensor module that is at least partially disposed in the sensor housing, a pressure connection having a pressure channel, and a throttle element for throttling a pressure prevailing in the pressure channel. On a side facing the pressure sensor module, the throttle element has at least one first recessed portion and, on a side facing away from the pressure sensor module, at least one second recessed portion.
