  • Patent number: 9309856
Abstract: Assembly (57) for a speed reducer of a rotary electric machine, comprising: a ring gear (46) secured to a transverse wall (58); a base plate (60) to be securely and rotatably mounted relative to a mounting (16) of the machine; an axially acting resilient means, such as an axially acting resilient disc (64); and an added hub (68) on which the transverse wall (58) of the ring gear (46), the base plate (60), and the resilient means (64) are mounted. The hub (68) has at least one first shoulder (71) for supporting the axially acting resilient means (64), and at least one second shoulder (72) for supporting the transverse wall (58) of the ring gear (46). The assembly also relates to a starter, particularly for a motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7679250
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for fixing permanent magnets inside the cylinder head of a field winding of an electric engine. The inventive device comprises spring clips (12) which are disposed between the permanent magnets in order to ensure the angular positioning and the axial and radial support of said magnets against the inner wall of the head. The end of each clip (12) which first penetrates the head when the permanent magnets are being inserted, comprises means for axially sliding on the inner cylindrical wall of the head, while preventing any contact with an end edge of the clip. Moreover, the clip is set apart from the head by means of at least one boss (17) which is provided on the core (16), and said boss is in turn set back from the edge and disposed between two fins (14) for the axial locking of the magnets.

  • Publication number: 20070126298
Abstract: The inventive device for angularly positioning a starter on a support (11) interfacing with a thermal combustion engine for a motor vehicle comprises indexing means, at least one projection (12) which is axially connected to the cylindrical head (10) and introducible into a complementary slot (13) arranged in the support (11) in order to form an indexing area (14) for fixing and angularly orienting a rotational inductor coil with respect to the support (11) without increasing radial thickness thereof. In such a manner, the angular indexing function is transferred to the interfacing support (11). The projection (12) is separated from the slot (13) by a clearance in order to form an outlet orifice (21) enabling water to be evacuated from the starter.
