  • Publication number: 20240143301
Abstract: The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to automated deployment and management of network functions in multi-vendor cloud networks. A service provider system can create at least one repository structure to hold at least one pipeline, at least one artifact, at least one image, and code used to create a network function defined by a vendor. The service provider system can create a secrets management structure for the network function. The service provider system can define a schema to support environment variables for a network function type of the network function. The service provider system can create instance specific data to satisfy the schema required for the network function type and can store the at least one artifact into a framework defined during a design phase. The service provider system can instruct the at least one repository structure to exhibit version control and change management behavior.

  • Patent number: 7613283
Abstract: A system and method for delivering interactive voice messages using a voice messaging system are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, the system comprises a voice messaging processor and memory containing machine readable instructions which, when executed by the processor, enable the voice messaging system to: receive an inbound call from a sender; record an interactive voice message from the sender directed to at least one recipient; receive a voice message retrieval request from a recipient; play the interactive voice message for the recipient; and initiate an interactive session with the recipient to elicit responses from the recipient regarding the interactive voice message. In one aspect of the invention, an application server is provided for generating interactive voicemails and placing the inbound call from the sender to the voice messaging processor.

  • Publication number: 20070280214
Abstract: A method and apparatus for retrieving electronic mail and voicemail on packet networks such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Service over Internet Protocol (SoIP) networks are disclosed. For example, a customer subscribes to a messaging service(s) where voicemail and/or email destined to the customer's IP phone can be accessed from a second endpoint device, where the IP phone and the second endpoint device are different devices. In one embodiment, the network service provider allows the second endpoint device that is deployed on another network, e.g., a wireless network, to access the stored messages in a particular presentation format (e.g., an audio format or a text format).

  • Publication number: 20060114894
Abstract: In an arrangement where the device that is known to an ISP is communicating with the ISP through an interposed device that is not known to the ISP, the interposed device captures the known device's MAC address upon startup and clones the captured MAC address in all standard packets that it sends to the ISP.
