  • Patent number: 11247299
Abstract: This disclosure relates to protective glass, for installation in laser tools of laser processing machines, comprising a transponder in which data relating to the protective glass are stored in a contactlessly readable fashion and/or can be contactlessly stored. A grip carrying the transponder is fastened as an installation aid directly on circumferential surface of the protective glass.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 2018
Date of Patent: February 15, 2022
    Assignee: TRUMPF LASER GMBH
Inventors: Jochen Hutt, Rainer Flaig, Gerhard Broghammer, Michael Harteker, Marius Hezel, Matthias Fichter, Bernhard Kaiser
  • Patent number: 10830953
Abstract: An apparatus for coupling out radiation from an optical fiber, includes a housing, and a stop having a stop opening for delimiting an output coupling angle of radiation that is coupled out of an output end of the optical fiber to a maximum output coupling angle with respect to a central axis of the stop opening, wherein the stop is arranged in the housing. The stop has a stop body made from a transparent material, the stop body has a first total internal reflection face for reflecting radiation that is coupled out of the output end of the optical fiber with greater output coupling angles than the maximum output coupling angle, and the stop body has a second total internal reflection face for reflecting radiation that propagates opposite to the radiation coupled out of the output end and is reflected back by a workpiece.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 19, 2019
Date of Patent: November 10, 2020
    Assignee: TRUMPF LASER GMBH
Inventors: Rudolf Huber, Stefan Fuchs, Marius Hezel, Julian Hellstern, Dominik Maier
